Do Bloggers Need Another Advertising Agency?

15.gifThere is the question, “Do pro bloggers need another advertising agency?” The question is ‘yes.’ We don’t necessarily need another one. What we need is one that views us as professional.  A website like entrepreneur.com can offer all sorts of small business ideas and flood the page with ad buttons and Goggle code. That is legit. A blogger puts one paid post that relates to their readers at a 1:5, 1:10 ratio and it is considered a spam site.

Bloggers need an agency that makes it easier for them to do what they want to do – write on a niche topic. I can offer better content, more often, if I don’t have to worry about building links that have absolutely nothing to do with my readers, traffic, or income generating.

I want an ad agency that puts bloggers in control like Sponsored Review and SocialSpark. I think that the system will work much better if bloggers approach advertisers, instead of Agencies matching Blogggers with ad opportunities.  This way the bloggers can ‘pitch’ and it will force them to write better content.

I can see some movement toward this type of set up. I do not want to see paid blogging pushed out of reach for new bloggers or beginners. I would just like to see a more level playing field where bloggers are held accountable by the advertisers for their work.
