Life tips was a paid venue for a long time. Writers were well paid, and the quality of the writing was good. Now, they are offering a type of publication where readers can have all their favorite tips put in a book. If the book says, the writer is paid.

The site offers some PR value but not as much as bellaonline, inspiredauthor, or suite101.com.  I’ve been surfing the web for 5 years and I’ve seen all the above sites come in on the tops of searches – but never life tips. In fact, if a friend hadn’t found the site in Craig’s list, and recommended them, I wouldn’t have become one of their writers.  I use to be their SEO and Self Defense guru. They’ve removed the tips that I wrote, but they haven’t removed my profile.

However, if you are a new writer with almost nothing in your portfolio, then this is a perfect place to get started. The tips are easy to write, short, and their criteria are fairly simple.
