Professional Link Building

There comes a day when webmasters need to seriously consider building good links. Building to PR3 is fairly easy for anyone with patience and experience. However, past this, building links manually and trying to get unique links on multiple sites can become difficult. One method of building links is to work with a service such as www.edutextlinks.com

Trying to get PR5 means at least 3000 links on 3000 different sites.  Or, 2 - 5 links on PR7 - PR8 sites. However, even if you leave a comment on a website with PR8, only the index remains at PR8. The post you leave a comment on does not have PR8. Then, even if you do land a link on a PR8 page, you only get partial value if there are more than 40 links, including menus, including sidebars, and even ‘read more’ hyperlinks at the end of a post.

The only way to get PR above 3 is to buy links. Unfortunately, the amateur link farms will end up getting you banned. There is link building pros - it must be done right. Even if you read the webmaster pages and page rank pages on this site, you won’t learn a way to increase PR as quickly as when you buy text links.

There are several ways to buy links. Most sites charge monthly. This puts your link on a page with a hundred other links, reducing the value. The tag on the end of the domain is also important.  A .edu tag is more valuable than a .net or .info.

I prefer to work with services such as edutextlinks because they have a fixed fee. You know exactly what you get, and what you will pay.  They are the only ones that focus on .edu domains, according to their press copy.  Their fee is $400 for a basic service which links to PR8 pages.  If you calculate that it takes 15 minute to build a link on a website, and it takes 3000 to increase PR by +1, this is a great deal.
